SAVANNAH, Ga. – Armstrong Atlantic State and Lynn University split a dual match at the AASU Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.

The No. 4-ranked AASU men defeated the No. 12-ranked Lynn men, 6-3. The Pirates dropped No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but got wins from Blaise Tribolet at no. 3 singles, Frederic Heitz at No. 4 singles, Aref Jallali in three sets on No. 5 singles and Dave Webley at No. 6 singles. AASU also won two of the three doubles matches.

The No. 2-ranked Lynn women edged the No. 3-ranked AASU women, 5-4. The Lady Pirates got wins at No. 1 singles from Stephanie Kovacic, No. 4 singles from Marie-Claude Ostiguy and No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.

The Pirates are back in action on Saturday with two PBAC matches against USC Spartanburg and Columbus State.
