Men's Tennis: AASU 5, Tyler JC 2 (exhibition)

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Armstrong Atlantic State, ranked No. 4 in NCAA Division II, defeated the No. 1 ranked junior college team, the Apaches of Tyler JC, 5-2 in second-round action at the Blue-Gray Classic in Montgomery, Ala., on Friday morning.

The Pirates swept all three doubles matches, then got wins at No. 3 singles from Blaise Tribolet and No. 4 singles from Frederic Heitz to clinch the match.

The win sets up a match with No. 7-ranked Barry for Saturday, April 8, at 9:00 a.m. in the consolation finals of the Blue-Gray Classic.
