College Baseball: No.3 North Florida 21, Armstrong Atlantic State 5

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The No. 3-ranked University of North Florida baseball team pulled out to an 11-0 lead after three innings, en route to a 21-5 win over Armstrong Atlantic State University in a Peach Belt Conference game at Harmon Stadium.
The Ospreys scored twice in the first and then sent 11 hitters to the plate in the second, scoring seven runs, keyed by a two-run single by Ricky Willis and a three-run homer by Jesse Collins. UNF (25-7, 15-3) scored in every inning but the seventh, finishing with 16 hits.
The Pirates (24-10, 7-8) pushed across two runs in the fourth and seventh innings and a single run in the fifth.
Tod Ewasko recorded his fifth complete game, improving to 8-1. He allowed five runs, three earned, on 10 hits, while walking none and striking out five.
Justin Worrell (1-2) took the loss for AASU, going two innings and allowing nine runs, eight earned, on six hits, while walking three and striking out one. Pirate pitchers walked 10 and hit four Osprey batters.
Alden Watson finished with three hits and scored four runs and Victor Caban also picked up three hits. Jesse Collins picked up four RBIs on two hits, and Ryan Soehlig and Ricky Willis also had two hits and three RBIs, while Ben Johanning had a pair of hits. Scott Bridges and Watson each tripled for the Ospreys.
