College Baseball: No. 11 AASU 9, Concord 7

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Junior Truman Marek's four hits led a 17-hit attack as the No. 11-ranked Armstrong Atlantic baseball squad outlasted Concord, 9-7, on Sunday afternoon at Pirate Field.

Every starter in the Pirates' lineup recorded at least one hit as AASU (14-0-1) won its 14th straight contest. Brandon Stelter (1-0) picked up the win in relief for the Pirates as he hurled two innings of one-run ball, striking out two. Concord (2-2) reliever C. Hedrick picked up the loss, giving up an unearned run in 2/3 of an inning pitched.

The Pirates return to action on Monday, March 6, with a 2:00 p.m. game against Wayne State (Neb.) at Pirate Field in continuing Savannah Invitational action.
