FMU's Dylan Keylock Wins Individual Medalist

SAVANNAH, Ga. Francis Marion University equaled its first-round score with a second-round 293 to capture the inaugural AASU/Southbridge Golf Club Pirate Invitational at Southbridge Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon by 20 strokes.
The Patriots dominated the field by placing four of their golfers in the top five, led by individual medalist Dylan Keylock, who fired an even-par 72 on Tuesday to finish the tournament as the only player below par at 143 (-1). Keylock's teammate, Fredrik Ohlsson, finished second after a second-round 73 to finish with a one-over-par 145 score. Michigan's Andy Matthews finished third with a three-over-par 147 total. AASU's Nick Cowper was the low player for the host Pirates, finishing tied for eighth with an eight-over-par 152 total.
Fellow Peach Belt Conference school Kennesaw State finished second with a 606 total, followed by Michigan (614) and host Armstrong Atlantic State (617).
AASU and Michigan will both be in action on Saturday, March 2 at the Wolverine South Intercollegiate in Savannah, Ga., at the Hunter Army Golf Club.
