AASU's Ehlers Named PBAC Volleyball Player of the Week

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Freshman outside hitter Lindsay Ehlers was named the Peach Belt Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for Oct. 18, announced by the PBAC office today.

Ehlers led the Pirates to three PBAC wins on the week, recording 18 kills and hitting .500 in AASU's 3-0 victory over Augusta State on Oct. 13, then notching 19 kills in Sunday's 3-0 home win over USC Spartanburg. The 5-10 freshman from Boulder, Colo., hit .391 for the week and averaged 5.1 kills per game. The honor was the first for the AASU volleyball squad this season.

The Pirates next travel to Francis Marion to face the Patriots in a battle of PBAC unbeatens on Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
