LAIE, Hawaii – The Brigham Young University-Hawaii women's softball team dropped a pair of games to number-four-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State today, 6-0 and 9-0 to fall to 6-16 on the season. The Seasiders managed only two hits in the first game and just one in the second as the Lady Pirate hurlers kept BYU-Hawaii hitters off-balance all day.

Seasider starter Lyndi Frei kept the visitors at bay through the first four innings of game one, but was done in by four BYU-Hawaii errors that led to five unearned runs as Armstrong Atlantic scored four times in the fifth and twice in the sixth to grab the victory. Maggie Reynolds and Tami Layton had the hits for the Seasiders in game one.

Reynolds got the only BYU-Hawaii hit in game two as the Lady Pirates banged out ten hits in the shortened second game. Four more Seasiders errors led to five of the Armstrong runs being unearned in game two.

BYU-Hawaii will host Wisconsin-Parkside on Wednesday.
