Women's Tennis: Armstrong Atlantic State 5, Kennesaw State 1
Clayton College & State 5, Armstrong Atlantic State 4

KENNESAW, Ga. & MORROW, Ga. – The Armstrong Atlantic State women's tennis team split two road matches on Saturday, defeating Kennesaw State, 5-1, but losing at Clayton College & State, 5-4.

The Lady Pirates had little trouble with the Owls, taking two of three doubles matches then winning three singles matches to take the overall match, but later the Lady Pirates lost for the first time in the Peach Belt Conference in five seasons with a 5-4 loss at Clayton College & State, a match that covered three venues due to darkness.

The Lady Pirates (3-1) return to action on Sunday afternoon as they host USC Aiken at 1:00 p.m. at the AASU Tennis Complex.
