PEMBROKE, N.C. & FLORENCE, S.C. – The No. 12-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State men's tennis team picked up a 5-4 victory over No. 23-ranked Francis Marion in a Peach Belt Conference match on Tuesday afternoon in Florence, S.C., while the AASU women traveled to two locations and picked up two 9-0 wins at UNC Pembroke and Francis Marion.

The Pirate men picked up two doubles victories, then split the six singles matches for the win. Senior Dale White clinched the match with his three-set victory over Alex Cury at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3. David Secker and Jeremy Mastnak also won in singles for the Pirates.

The Lady Pirates blanked UNC Pembroke in the first match on Tuesday, not dropping a set to the Lady Braves. Dziyana Nazaruk paced the Lady Pirates with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Erin Saltzman at No. 1 singles. AASU then traveled to Florence and knocked off Francis Marion, 9-0. Luisa Cowper knocked off Kamini Murugaboopathy at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1.The Pirates next host USC Aiken in PBC action tomorrow beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the AASU Tennis Complex.

AASU is next in action on Saturday, Feb. 26, as the Pirates host West Florida in a dual match at 10:00 a.m.
