Men's Tennis: No. 19 Armstrong Atlantic State 6, USC Aiken 3
Women's Tennis: No. 5 Armstrong Atlantic State 9, USC Aiken 0

AIKEN, S.C. – The Armstrong Atlantic State men's and women's tennis teams picked up a Peach Belt Conference dual match sweep of USC Aiken on Saturday afternoon as the men defeated the Pacers, 6-3, while the women blanked the Lady Pacers, 9-0.

The No. 19-ranked men won two of three doubles matches, then picked up four of six singles wins. Achim Roth defeated USC Aiken's Will Elliott, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 3 singles to help the Pirates even their PBC record at 2-2 and move to 3-2 on the season.

The No. 5-ranked women had little trouble with the Lady Pacers, sweeping all three doubles matches and dropping just nine games in picking up six straight-set wins in singles play.

The AASU tennis teams return to action on Sunday, February 24 as they host top-10 ranked West Florida at Macon, Ga., at 9:00 a.m.
