Men's Tennis: No. 13 AASU 8, No. 31 Lander 1

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 13-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State men’s tennis team snapped a four-match losing streak by defeating No. 31-ranked Lander, 8-1, at the AASU Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.

AASU swept all three doubles matches, including an 8-6 win by Robert Jendelund and Dale White at No. 1 doubles over Nicolas Legros and Carlos Benatzky.

The Pirates then won five of six singles matches to improve to 10-5 overall and 6-0 in the Peach Belt. Dale White paced the Pirates by defeating Nick Tzekos, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 2 singles, while Peter Dedik, Davor Zink, Jeremy Mastnak and David Secker each picked up singles wins.

AASU returns to action on Tuesday, March 29, as the Pirates travel to No. 5 USC Upstate for a 2:00 p.m. match against the Spartans.
