SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Armstrong Atlantic State men's tennis squad rebounded from two close losses to pick up two wins on Sunday at Bacon Park, while the AASU women extended their nation-best win streak to 47 with two wins over Peach Belt foe North Georgia and cross-town rival SCAD.

The AASU men picked up a 9-0 win over a shorthanded North Georgia squad, winning two doubles matches and five singles matches as the Saints played with just five players. Davor Zink paced the Pirates in singles with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Vlad Lumezeanu at No. 1 singles. AASU then picked up an 8-1 win, this time over cross-town rival Savannah College of Art & Design, winning all three doubles matches and five of six singles matches.

The Lady Pirates extended their win streak to 47 by knocking off the Lady Saints in their first match of the day. AASU did not give up a point in any match to North Georgia as it improved to 8-0 in the PBC with the victory - the 29th straight regular season league win for the Lady Pirates. AASU then blanked cross-town rival SCAD, 9-0, winning all three doubles matches and picking up six singles wins in straight sets.

The AASU women return to action on Wednesday, March 29, as the Lady Pirates travel to Winter Park, Fla., to face Rollins at 3:30 p.m.
