Men's Tennis: No. 9 North Florida 5, No. 19 AASU 4
Women's Tennis: No. 1 Armstrong Atlantic State 8, No. 9 North Florida 1

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Armstrong Atlantic State tennis teams split a Peach Belt Conference dual match with North Florida on Wednesday afternoon as the top-ranked women defeated the No. 9-ranked Lady Ospreys, 8-1, but the No. 9-ranked UNF men downed the No. 19-ranked AASU men, 5-4.

The top-ranked AASU women completed a perfect run through the Peach Belt Conference with the 8-1 win, clinching the regular season conference title and remaining undefeated against DII competition this season. AASU will be the top seed in the PBC women's tennis tournament on April 18-20 in Jacksonville, Fla.

The No. 19-ranked men lost two of three doubles matches to the Ospreys, then could win only three singles matches in the 5-4 loss. Freshmen Dale White and Achim Roth picked up singles wins for the Pirates, as did sophomore Caue Figueiredo.

The AASU men are next in action on Thursday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m. against Kutztown.
