Men's Tennis: North Florida 6, Armstrong Atlantic State 3
Women's Tennis: Armstrong Atlantic State 6, North Florida 3

JACKSONVILLE, FLa. – The Armstrong Atlantic State men's and women's tennis teams split matches at Peach Belt Conference foe North Florida on Wednesday afternoon as the No. 8-ranked Lady Pirates defeated the No. 5-ranked Lady Ospreys, 6-3, and the No. 15-ranked Ospreys defeated the No. 4-ranked Pirates, 6-3.

The AASU women won despite losing two of three doubles matches to start the match, rebounding to pick up wins at the first five singles positions, led by Zsofi Golopencza's 6-4, 6-3 win over Julia Hartner at No. 1 singles.

The AASU men started by losing two of three doubles matches, each by tiebreak, then managed to win only two singles matches. Roger Thiele defeated Miguel Mariano, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4 singles and Neil McPhee defeated Jean-Francois Guille at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-3.

AASU's men return to action on Fri., March 30, hosting Florida Gulf Coast at 2:00 p.m.
