Men's Tennis: Armstrong Atlantic State 5, Ferris State 4
Women's Tennis: Armstrong Atlantic State 7, Ferris State 2

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Armstrong Atlantic State men's and women's tennis teams swept Ferris State in a non-conference doubleheader match on Wednesday afternoon at the AASU Tennis Complex.

The AASU men, ranked No. 6 in the nation, took two of three doubles matches and won three of six singles matches, including at No. 2 singles, where Blaise Tribolet defeated Francisco Valencia, 6-2, 5-7, 6-1. Aref Jallali won at No. 5 singles over Matt Cole, 6-2, 6-2, and Roger Thiele won at No. 6 singles over Robbie Todd, 7-5, 6-2, to give the men the victory over No. 16 Ferris State.

The AASU women, ranked No. 15 in the nation, swept all three doubles matches and won at the top four singles positions to easily handle the No. 11-ranked Ferris State women.

AASU returns to action tomorrow, March 8, in a dual match against Lees-McRae at 2:00 p.m.
