SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Armstrong Atlantic State tennis squads swept a dual match from DI foe Campbell University on Tuesday afternoon at the AASU Tennis Complex.

Playing the DI point format, the AASU men won two of three doubles matches to take the doubles point. Peter Dedik and Davor Zink's 8-5 win over Carlos Campo and Marc Sifre clinched the point, then the Pirates won at the bottom four singles spots to pick up the 5-2 victory. Dedik, Zink and Jeremy Mastnak all picked up straight set wins for the Pirates, while David Secker won a third-set tiebreak to take his match.

On the women's side, the No. 2-ranked Lady Pirates did not drop a set in downing the Lady Camels, 7-0. AASU swept all three doubles matches to pick up the doubles point, then won all six singles matches in straight sets. Luisa Cowper led the way with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Georgina Marta at No. 1 singles, and the Lady Pirates got singles wins from Dziyana Nazaruk, Johanna Dahlback, Manuela Emmrich, Caroline Grage and Laura Peaty to improve to a perfect 10-0 on the season.

The AASU men are next in action on Wednesday afternoon as the Pirates host Abilene Christian at 2:00 p.m. at the AASU Tennis Complex.
