WINTER PARK, Fla. – The sixth ranked Rollins men’s tennis team dropped just one doubles and one singles match on their way to a 7-2 victory over #15 Armstrong Atlantic on Saturday.

The sixth ranked doubles team of Carlos Custodio and Mark Thompson upset fifth ranked Achim Roth and Dale White 8-4 to get the Tars started on the right foot. The duo of Andrew Groslimond and Matt Umbers also took a victory, winning the number two match 8-4.

Dale White picked up AASU's only singles point at No. 3 singles as Andrew Groslimond was disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct after trailing by one set.

Rollins took the number one and two singles matches when #5 Custodio beat #20 Roth 6-4, 6-4 and #18 Mark Thompson took care of Roger Thiele 6-3, 6-2. Matt Umbers (6-3, 6-2) won the number four match while David Tafur (6-2, 2-6, 6-2) and Drew Spika (6-4, 6-3) took wins in the number five and six singles matches.
