SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 8-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State women's team clinched second place in the Peach Belt Conference with two 9-0 wins over Francis Marion and UNC Pembroke on Wednesday afternoon at Francis Marion University. The No. 4-ranked men's team lost to the No. 10-ranked Patriots, 6-3.

The AASU women did not drop a set in improving to 9-1 in the Peach Belt and 14-3 overall.

The AASU men lost two of three doubles matches, then picked up just two singles wins in an injury-depleted lineup.

The AASU men return to action on Saturday, April 7 as they travel to Francis Marion for a 2:00 p.m. matchup with the Mocs. The AASU women will next be in action on Sunday, April 8 against Presbyterian in a match moved up two days by the Blue Hose.
