PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Armstrong Atlantic State tennis squads swept a college tennis match from Delta State at the White Sands Invitational in Pensacola, Fla., on Saturday afternoon.

The top-ranked Lady Pirates dropped just one doubles match as they got back on the winning track with a 5-1 victory. AASU won two of three doubles, then picked up straight-set singles wins from Zsofi Golopencza, Annamaria Forgacs and Michaela Kratochvilova at the 1-3 singles positions.

The No. 19-ranked AASU men also got back on the winning track, snapping a four-match losing streak by defeating DSU 6-3. The Pirates won two of three doubles matches, then got singles wins from Roger Thiele, Dale White, Caue Figueiredo and Michael Jezt.

The AASU women's tennis squad will wrap up action in the White Sands Invitational on Sunday morning as they take on No. 9-ranked Ouachita Baptist at 9:00 a.m.
