up a 3-0 victory over visiting Armstrong Atlantic on Sunday
afternoon at the Bob Martinez Sports Center in Tampa, Fla. Game
scores were: 30-16, 30-28, 30-22.Lauren Good led the Pirates (15-12) on the afternoon with 10 kills, while Adriana Miller collected 11 digs and Margaret Thornton tallied 20 assists. Tampa (22-2) had four players with double digit kills, led by Alisha Green's 13 kills and .478 hitting percentage.
The Pirates return home for a Peach Belt showdown with USC Aiken on Friday, October 20, at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are tied for first in the PBC with 7-1 league records and it will be the Pirates' first home match in nearly a month.
