Women's College Basketball: North Florida 75, AASU 47

SAVANNAH, Ga. - North Florida opened the second half on a 18-4 run and cruised to a 75-47 win over Armstrong Atlantic State on Wednesday evening at UNF Arena.

The Lady Ospreys shot 76 percent (19-of-25) from the floor in the second half and 62 percent for the game in handing the Lady Pirates their third loss in a row. Brittney Davis scored 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the floor - 14 in the second half - to lead the Lady Ospreys. Armstrong Atlantic scored just 15 points after intermission and scored their lowest amount of points since collecting just 43 points on Dec. 17, 2002 at Shaw.

Senior Briana Milam canned three three-pointers en route to 11 first-half points for the Lady Pirates, but Tamara Hubbard's three-pointer at the buzzer tied the ballgame up for UNF at 32-all heading into intermission. Milam's 11 points led the Lady Pirates, while Alicia Durham added 10 points.

Armstrong Atlantic will close out its regular season on Saturday, Feb. 26, at Columbus State University at 4:00 p.m.
