On Saturday, the Pirates hosted UNC Pembroke for Homecoming, but the Braves spoiled the Pirates' celebration with the three-point victory. AASU trailed the Lady Bobcats by 12 at halftime, 32-30, but a second-half rally brought the Lady Pirates to within one point, 45-44, with 8:51 left. GC&SU pulled away for the win behind a career-high night from Breane Haggard, who hit six threes en route to 22 points. Senior Lexie Martin pumped in 17 points to lead the Lady Pirates, while junior Zandrique Cason added a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

On Saturday, the Lady Pirates had two chances to tie the Lady Braves but could not convert on three-point shots, losing to UNC Pembroke for Homecoming. Junior Chris Boaen carried the hot bat over the weekend, going 11-for-15 with two triples, two home runs and 10 RBI.
