SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong Atlantic State women’s tennis team blanked a pair of opponents on Monday at the AASU Tennis Complex, knocking off Lees-McRae and PBC foe Clayton State, 9-0, to stretch its current regular season match win streak to 83.

The No. 2-ranked Lady Pirates (16-0, 9-0 PBC) dropped only seven games total in taking care of Lees-McRae (2-8) in the day’s first match. AASU then hosted the Lakers of Clayton State (4-5, 3-3 PBC) and won all three doubles matches, dropping only three games, then swept all six singles matches. Johanna Dahlback, playing No. 1 singles for the Pirates, defeated Anna Redecsi, 6-2, 6-4, to pace the Lady Pirates, who picked up their 39^th straight Peach Belt Conference win, dating back to 2003.

AASU returns to action on Wednesday, March 14, as the Lady Pirates host No. 24 (NAIA) Lindsey Wilson at 2:00 p.m.
