Women's Tennis: No. 1 AASU 9, No. 14 Rollins 0

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The top-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State women's tennis team stretched its nation-best win streak to 48 with a 9-0 victory over No. 14-ranked Rollins College on Wednesday afternoon in Winter Park, Fla.

The Pirates won all three doubles matches, then picked up six singles wins to remain undefeated on the season. Luisa Cowper and Iuliia Stupak were pushed at No. 1 doubles by the Tars team of Tasi Purcell and Marnie Mahler, winning 9-7. Stupak, the PBC Player of the Week, then took care of Purcell at No. 1 singles, 7-5, 6-4. Cowper, Dziyana Nazaruk, Johanna Dahlback, Manuela Emmrich and Kristen Kelly also picked up singles wins for the Lady Pirates.

Armstrong Atlantic returns to action on Thursday, April 6, when the Lady Pirates host Lynn at 1:00 p.m. in Savannah.
