Women's Tennis: AASU 7, Kennesaw State 2
SAVANNAH, Ga. The No. 3-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 victory over PBAC rival Kennesaw State on Sunday morning at the AASU Tennis Complex.
The Lady Pirates improved to 6-3 on the season and 6-0 in the Peach Belt with the victory. AASU picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, then got singles wins from Stephanie Kovacic, Michaela Kratochvilova, Petra Schemm, Marie-Claude Ostiguy and Josephine Grube.
AASU will next host Lynn University in a men's/women's dual match on Friday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the AASU Tennis Complex.
