ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The No. 4-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State men's tennis team defeated , Flagler College, the No. 2-ranked team in NAIA, 5-2, on Wednesday afternoon to pick up its first win of the season.

AASU won two of the doubles points, then got singles wins from Antony Xayphengsy, Frederic Heitz and Christopher Petersen to clinch the match.

The AASU women, ranked No. 3 in the nation, lost to Flagler College, ranked No. 6 in NAIA, on Wednesday, 5-2.

AASU returns to action on Feb. 12 as the Lady Pirates open their PBAC season with matches against Lander and Clayton College & State.
