Women's Tennis: AASU 6, UNC Pembroke 3

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The No. 3-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State women's tennis team picked up a 6-3 victory over PBAC rival UNC Pembroke on Wednesday afternoon in Pembroke, N.C.

The Lady Pirates improved to 11-4 on the season and a perfect 10-0 in PBAC play with the victory despite playing with just five players. AASU won both doubles matches and picked up singles wins at No. 1 through No. 4.

AASU will next host the University of North Florida on Thursday, March 30, at 2:00 p.m. in a match that will determine the PBAC title as both the Lady Ospreys and the Lady Pirates are undefeated.
